Mentor-Mentee Activities

One of the unique characteristics of the Geography Department is its attempt to use informal teaching and learning opportunities to achieve the goals of Whole Person Education. Over the past few years, the Department has strived to foster "partnership" relationships between staff and students in a number of activities, such as the new student orientation cum first mentoring meeting in September, the annual departmental mentoring fieldtrip in the fall, and the mentor-mentee football tournament in the spring. The aims of these activities are to promote student-staff interactions.
