Elizabeth Chan Cheng E-lay Geography Seminar Series
The Geography Seminar Series is supported by the Geography Academic Lecture Fund set up by the generous donation by Mrs. Elizabeth Chan Cheng E-lay. The aim of these seminars is to provide a venue for academic exchange among our own faculty and students, and between HKBU and the academia at large. The Seminar Series will consist of 5-6 seminars per semester. Speakers include faculty members and post-graduate students from our own Department and scholars from other institutions in Hong Kong. Occasionally, we will also invite visiting scholars in Hong Kong to share their research findings in the Seminar Series. For instance, over the past several years we have had speakers from the USA, UK, Australia, Germany and Mainland China.
