Over 80 Geography students in the class of GEOG2006 Earth Systems: Shaping Landscapes visited the Stephen Hui Geological Museum on 19 and 26 October 2022 respectively. We were grateful to have the guided tours arranged by the Museum and had opportunities to learn about the evolution of the dynamic Earth System and various minerals, rocks and fossils in an interactive way. Students enjoyed exploring the historical evolution of geology in Hong Kong and its major influences on the past and modern Hong Kong environment. An experiential visit to the Museum facilitated students to apply classroom knowledge on field observation and investigation.
