Dr. HOSSAIN Md Lokman, a recent Geography PhD graduate won the first prize of the Madam Kwok Chung Bo Fun PhD Student Research Excellence Awards for AY2022/23 on 26 October 2022. Mr. Raymond Kowk, Donor of the Awards and Prof. Alexander Wai, President and Vice Chancellor of HKBU, presented the award to Dr. Hossain.  

The Madam Kwok Chung Bo Fun PhD Student Research Excellence Awards were established with donations from the Madam Kwok Chung Po Fun Foundation to recognize and reward the research excellence and significant research breakthroughs of HKBU PhD students.
