In recognition of the excellent contributions of academic staff, our colleague, Dr. Jianfeng Li has been awarded the 2023 Performance Award in Scholarly Work for the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Department of Geography would like to extend sincere congratulations to Dr. Li on this significant achievement. 

The Hong Kong Baptist University established the President’s Award Scheme for Outstanding Performance of Academic/teaching Staff in 2000/01 to recognize outstanding performance, promote excellence in performance standards and encourage colleagues to press on for greater achievements. The Awards Presentation for Outstanding Performance 2023 was held on 3 May 2023 and there are more than 60 award winners in 5 categories in AY2022/23.
