The Department of Geography is pleased to launch a new Distinguished Geography Seminar Series in which leading scholars from around the globe are invited to share their work. The seminar series will continue through 2022.

We are honored to have Prof. Ilan Kelman, Professor of Disasters and Health at University College London, England and a Professor II at the University of Agder, Kristiansand, Norway, as our speaker. The title of his presentation is: "Disaster by Choice: Why disasters are not natural".
