With a view to fostering collegial exchanges and collaboration among academic staff, the Department of Geography decided to organize one or two brown bag seminars each year for faculty members to share their latest research or works-in-progress with fellow colleagues and research students.

The first ‘Faculty Research Colloquium’ was held on 5 December 2016. Over 20 academic staff and research students participated in this activity. Three speakers, Dr. Barber Lachlan B., Dr. Li Jianfeng, and Dr. Lo Tek Shing Kevin, presented their current work. Each presentation was followed by a productive question and answer period fueled by lunch.
