Dr. Sajjad Muhammad’s research article “Spatial-temporal characterization of rainfall in Pakistan during the past half-century (1961-2020)” was downloaded 2,228 times in 2021, making it one of the top 100 most downloaded Earth science papers for Scientific Reports in 2021. This is a remarkable achievement as the journal Scientific Reports published more than 610 Earth science papers in 2021. Dr. Sajjad’s article evaluates spatial-temporal rainfall trends and patterns in Pakistan from 1961-to 2020 and the research findings could inform environmental planning and management in Pakistan.
