As announced by HKBU on 23 May 2022, our colleague Dr. Daphne Mah has been awarded the 2022 Performance Award in Scholarly Work for the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Department of Geography would like to extend sincere congratulations to Dr. Mah on this important achievement.

The Hong Kong Baptist University established the President’s Award Scheme for Outstanding Performance of Academic/Teaching Staff in 2000-01 to recognize outstanding performance, promote excellence in performance standards and encourage colleagues to press on for greater achievements. In recognition of the outstanding performance of staff, the Awards Presentation Ceremony was held on 24 May 2022 (Tue) via YouTube.
