HKBU Department of Geography participated in Hong Kong Geography Day 2022

Hong Kong Geography Day (HKGD) 2022 was successfully held in hybrid mode on 26th November 2022 (Saturday), co-organized by the Hong Kong Geographical Association (HKGA) and the Department of Geography, at The University of Hong Kong. Our faculty members and research students actively participated in this biennial event of the geography education and research community in Hong Kong. This year, the geography day addressed the theme of “Climate Change: Mitigation and Adaptation” and highlighted various issues, challenges and prospects of climate change at the local, regional, global and even planetary scales.
HKGD aims to promote geography education among secondary school students and facilitate academic exchanges among Hong Kong geographers. Our research students won awards in the Postgraduate Student Paper and Poster Competitions and the winners are listed below. The Department would like to extend its warmest congratulations to all the winners!
